Looking on buying and building a daily driver, looking for suggestions.
rear requirements depend on alot of things, the heavier the car the more robust the rear must be. also depends on the car, may have enough already. ratio depends on trans, weight, engine, tire size. youve got to decide what you want before anyone can reliably give you info on those things. if you decide to go with the t56 you can get away with a relatively higher gear because of the OD

I really do wanna go with the T-56 but I think I'm gonna get a 4LXXE trans first then do an auto to manual conversion. The 4LXXE is a lot cheaper than the T-56.

Yea I've seen the Firebirds cheap on craigslist. I'd want one of those with T-Tops, I really like open air driving. I also really like the 78-81 Camaro Z28.
