Default Laughing gas is yummers!

My nitrous has been working and what not for a good 2 days, but the bottle wasn't bolted down so I could only test it in park. Well I had a buddy of mine with huge self-tapping bolts take care of that while I as at work so I got to test it out for the first time on the road when driving it back to the office. HAHAHAHA! ME WANT MORE!

Its like someone crashes into the back of your car at 70mph!

I my friend, am already addicted to this "drug". Give me more! FASTER! YUMMY YUMMY CAR WANTS TO SUCK STRAIGHT FROM THE BOTTLE!

How much did you pay for your nitrous setup allmachtige? All these people are having it done now and I want to join the bandwagon!! How hard/easy was it to set up?

where do you get nitrous setups and would the install be different on an ssei as opposed to an se or sse? I thought somone said supercharged engines had to have wet shots rather than dry. I need as much info as i can get thanks.

Usually with an SSEi you want to use a wet system. However, DrJay has an SSEi with the same kit as mine, and hes also running the 55 shot.

I believe installation is a little different between and SSEi and SSE/SE. Mine was simpler to install than DrJay...he for some reason needed a T-spliter for the intake vacuum I believe. I just hooked her right up to my current fittings and TA DA!

Dry systems mix with the air starting in your intake, then the air and nitrous mixture pass through the TB and into the upper intake and get all mixed around. Then its sucked into each piston and the fun begins. Whole physics of it: Nitrogen oxide basically makes an engine burn more fuel much faster. Its a catalyst.

How'* that sound turtle? LOL

Also, nitrous is fun because the oxygen atoms will separate and give you more oxidizer to burn fuel with. Thats why wet systems (that add more fuel and more oxygen) can make more power (or safer), but if your car is running a bit rich the dry systems will work fine. The expanding gas in the intake (dry) or runners (wet) also cools the intake chare tremendously.

More O2 + more fuel + cool, dense charge =

Very cool indeed. One night after using the nitrous multiple times, my intake was covered in frost!

If I want to buy nitrous, where do I buy it from and also what do I buy? Are there different hookups and stuff. Are different systems meant for specific cars or what? Thanks

I bought mine off ebay so save little money. If you buy a Zex kit, buy the Universal kit. They usually advertise it being made for Honda, Acura, and some other 4 banger but its actually a universal kit. Part number is 82011 I believe, I'll check. But here'* an example of the identical kit I bought: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6764
