Come spring I want to toss a 2.2-2.4" supercharger pulley on the SSEi, along with an oversized idler. Along with the added boost/power, I am afraid of getting KR. Are there any good/proven ways of preventing KR and knock? I would like to learn more about this. All advice would be greatly appreciated. :?
Open the exhaust and intake, and have a cold thermostat. Also try to keep the heat down under the hood by insulating things.
But the ONLY way to find out, IS TO SCAN! You must scan your car if you put a smalller pulley on.

Scan it before the pulley, you may already be getting KR. If you are do not pulley down.
Best ways to remove KR are, Headers, Cam, Rockers, Exhaust, intake. The better the engine breaths the less boost stacking you will have. Being series 1 the only thing readily available for you is exhaust and intake.
