It better work.
It will work fine. Like I said, we used to use a 120mhz laptop with 16mb of ram (it might even have been 8, I don't exactly remember), and it worked fine. It just took a while for it to boot up due to it only being 120mhz. Once the computer is on and the program is up and running, it is PLENTY fast.

Sent the autotap in, and no its not JUST a cable, it has a black box that interprets the voltage signals fromthe obd ii port to serial data to the pc.
You sure know how to rain on ones parade.

The color of your car suits your persona.

Well I hope they fix it up for you and it works for me with generating random numbers.

While all this happened, was the Mini-AFC plugged in by any chance? If so, is it still plugged in with the stock PCM. IIRC (don't remember for sure) that is the code the SSEi throws when the Mini-AFC'* quit working. And at the same time the car will start idling rough and stalling and things like that. I'm just thinking that that sounds an aweful like what the SSEi does when the mini-afc'* quit.

Plug it back in and see if it does it with the stock PCM. The last Mini-AFC we put on the SSEi lasted 1 and half days, or ~200 miles.

OK, I'll try it tomorrow after work.
If it is fried, why do they still sell them for Bonnevilles?? I notice Intense sells them specifically listing them.
APPLICATIONS:
1995-2003 Bonneville with 3800 Series II engine
1997-2003 Grand Prix with 3800 Series II engine
2000-2004 Impala with 3800 Series II engine
1998-1999 Intrigue with 3800 Series II engine
1996-2003 LeSabre with 3800 Series II engine
1998-2000 Lumina with 3800 Series II engine
1998-2003 Monte Carlo with 3800 Series II engine
1995-1999 Oldsmobile 88 with 3800 Series II engine
1996-1996 Oldsmobile 98 with 3800 Series II engine
1995-2003 Park Avenue with 3800 Series II engine
1995-2003 Regal with 3800 Series II engine
1995-2003 other applications with 3800 Series II engine

What a waste of $$ and false advertising.

I'm not sure thats the problem with yours, it may just be a problem we are having with ours, but I am not so sure about that either. I would bet that Intense doesn't know (as well as ZZP or any other company that sells them) that they may have a problem with Bonnevilles. Our SSEi definately has problems with mini-afc'*. Maybe this is something to talk to ZZP or Intense or both about. Or maybe we got a bunch of bad mini-afc'*.

Great observation Shawn, so the dhp pcm may be fine but was having a hard time with the mini afc. A scan tool seems to be needed with the use of the afc in order to properley set it up? I have read somewhere that the afc 2 is more prone to fail than the afc 1.1, which is why they still sell the earlier version I guess?

The first one we put on was good for about an oil change (4-5k). Then the next one we put on lasted a lot shorter time than that. Then the more we put on, the shorter they lasted. We just quit putting them on. I guess it will just run lean until it blows up, no big deal. :?
