Just curious...can I do this easily???
I have been thinking about making a true CAI out of my intake. Although it'* possible to do it with my setup, it would be easier if I had the smaller washer resevoir like most 92-95 SE'* have (assuming all SE'* have the smaller resevoir). That way I can make a larger box and it would fit tighter in that front corner. I could ALSO turn my K&N 90 degrees so the 8 inch width would be length-wise and would fill the space better. I've seen RLD and Aviator'* setup and I like the amount of room to work with better than mine.
My question is: Can I switch the washer resevoir with the smaller one? I'm assuming mine is bigger because I have the headlight sprayers. If I can switch the resevoirs I'm more than willing to give up the headlight sprayers for a true CAI. How hard would this be to do? Thanks for the help!

I bet something like that can be done. On my Thrasher CAI they sell Coolant re-location bottles along with this kit because some of the GP'* are Collant bottles are next to the air box and in the way. Don't see why you couldn't relocate it to somewhere else to give you more room to work with. They move it all the way to the back by firewall on the pass. side.
Don't really need to give up the extra washers either , just if you get a smaller bottle substitute, just need top it off more often.

Okay...I may do that. I'll have to look at my friend'* this weekend to get a better idea too. Anyone know off the top of their head how much one of the smaller washer resevoirs would cost? I'm not going to waste my time hunting for a decent junkyard around here.
