Go to the source. Jet Chips. Click on Domestics, 1996, Chevy/Pontiac passenger cars.

No Bonneville listed. Superdve said he'd do a custom burn for me because he'* got one on his 96. I told him thanks but no thanks in part because I don't have any other mods nor plan to do any major mods in the near future.

That'* great. Now for the next question, what do they do? They aren't a chip, so what are they? Most importantly, do they work or is it merely 300 or so dollars for some pretty flashing lights? Not being able to replace the chip on a 96 is a bummer. Any input would be truly helpful.
Well I just found out it'* the EXACT SAME as this one: http://www.bonnevilleattitude.com/st...7b9d66e43ce22b
These Jet PCMs will NOT effect anything else like speed limiter, shift points, etc. A "Custom" burned PCM will be needed to change that.

Will, if you use the link on my posting and click on 1996 models, it shows a Bonneville part # 68003. I will have to talk to Superdave about a custom burn, if one can be done. That seems like a better option. Dr. Jay, find that link!!!

Not sure if it will matter to Superdave, but you don't have the 4T65 trans. I believe most of his burns are for that, which would be 97 and up. If you get confirmation, let us know.

Does anyone here in the club do custom burns for PCMs?
Deathrat, or what about Intense or ADTR?

I don't believe that Jetchip & HyperChip make any chips for the 96-99 Bonnevilles.

JET does make a PCM for the 96-03 Bonneville.

Because the 96+ cars use a PCM not an ECU that has a chip in it.

For a "custom" burned PCM, I can get you one through Ty @ DP.
