Jet does NOT burn chips solely on engine/tranny combinations. They also have to take into account the smaller exhaust diameter of the SE (at least for the Stage 1 chip).
The Jet stage 2 will raise your shift points for all gears, as well as firm up the shifts, raise the trans line pressure, raise the redline, delete the top speed limiter, adjust fuel curves, etc.

You both have the SLE package. The vast majority of SE'* produced in 1993 have 2.25" exhaust.
There are other differences between the SSE (L27) PCM and the SE/SLE PCM as well. You don't have the Auto Climate Control, which means your PCM handles those codes, rather than the CC head unit. You may or may not have the code line for performance shift, and a few other little odds and ends.
Don't simply buy the SSE chip and expect it to work without contacting Jet with the information I suggested above.

Thanks for the information! But still nothing on GM Tuners??? I don't really WANT to spend $200 on a chip when I can buy one for $40 that does the same thing. Does anyone have any experience with GM tuners??? I did email GM Tuners by the way, just waiting to hear back from them. If JET is my only option, then I will be glad to go with them, but for some reason I think I have more options and for a hella' lot cheaper too.... but I could be wrong. I know Jason posted something a while back about trying an SSE JET chip on his 93 SLE but they didnt make them anymore.... Whats going on here??? I'm really confused! LOL :? :?
