Default Jet Chip

Anyone know of a good place to get a jet chip for my 97 SE Bon? I found one at www.performanceintl.com. Has anyone had any problems with theirs? Thank for the help in advance.

Yes they do, they plug into the OBDII outlet. That looks like a decent website, although I have never heard of it before.

Which chips on that site are you looking at? Jet, or Hypertech? Both require other mods. You'll gain very little with the chip by itself. Intake, exhaust, and 180 (or 160) thermostat (depending on the chip) are typically BARE MINIMUM in order to have a chance of gaining even part of their claims of hp.

A chip is NOT a standalone or first mod. It'* used to re-tune your PCM for the other mods you've already done.

I just typed again. Was I close? Should've copied/pasted, but I just wanted to make sure nobody gets disappointed in a chip. Get the mods first!

How could you scan for KR and other things with the OBDII outlet taken up? is there another way to connect the scanners?

Some members use AutoTap installed on a laptop, it comes with an OBD2 pin connector, gives you all your readouts.
