My 97 needs alot more go.
I would love to do something with the exhaust..make it a bit more deeper maybe, and a muff that flows better than stock, my PEMS willl go on this summer..
Then the obvious PCM and pulley antics...what scantools do u guys use?
Next year will be for my trans, its gunna need it...
Anything else?

The 9145 has recently been discovered lacking in the KR scanning department. Double-check on that before buying. I belive Lash and jr's3800 know the score.

So which would be a suitable replacement in the same price range. I'll throw mine back on Ebay

Try it first. Oh, search for a topic with Echo SSEi and bignews1. They had issues in AZ with one. I don't remember the details. But it might be year dependent.

You might look into a scan gauge like aeroforce or the new autometer one. Your obd2 now so there are alot more options for you.

I am looking to sell my Autotap.. it'* great and logs everything you could ever want. Only thing.. I'm looking to step up and have bidirectional testing.

On the flow of the muffler ... supposedly we can't outflow our mufflers. Adding a magnaflow cat changed my tone a little.. Changing to an OE replacement muffler gave me more sound at idle...with no drone or loudness on the highway.

I replaced my cat at 240,000 and my loud muffler with a oem camaro muffler. Nice tone and no highway drone. when I replaced my cat, the drone on the load muffler became unbearable at 2K rpm, which prompted the muffler change (plus I had new tips to install)
