Saw this on PFYC looks like it might be easily adaptable to the Bonnie. Only fear i have is kicking something up into the filter....thoughts?

Can't do it, that engine bay is tiny compared to the bonneville bay (well the H bodies) and it doesn't fit, the short one they have doesn't either, its way too short for our cars. If it did fit we'd all be running it too
But your car might, the newer ones have a much smaller engine bay.

Looks like that goes through right where the windshield wiper fluid reservoir goes. And on the series II, isn't that around where the PCM is? Not to up to speed on series II...
Anyone??
I would think the filter would get dirty as hell being right there. One thing that strikes me as odd is the fact that the filter being out of the engine bay means the air coming in is cooler, but with that in mind I'm wondering why they have the IAT all the way up towards the TB and not out a lot more

It would work but you would have to make a custom PCM box or hold down. The aftermarket PCM relocation box, like the lexan one I have, interferes with the hole.
Notice in that picture you posted, that the PCM is just laying there, seemingly unsupported.
