Intense Tranny build up
Stall speed is the maximum engine speed attainable without the wheels turning. It will allow the car to take off from a stop with higher engine rpm. This will have the engine in a higher horsepower or torque range for better acceleration. It will also generally loosen the torque converter when driving normally, so when you press on the go pedal, the revs will jump up more than stock for more useable hp at the sacrifice of mileage....unless the lock up feature engages.
If you power brake the car watch the tach to see how much rpm you can achieve without breaking the tires loose. That is your stall speed.
Stock is normally about 2000-2400 rpm....depending on how much torque your engine is making.

Cruising around town tonight I found things were just fine, it does a bit to get used to but it is easily growing on me.
Laid a few patches down tonight as well, no real brake stand but nice even 30' swipes. Need the tires for a while yet
