Intense PCM for my '03 SSEI
My main concern is that I heard the Bonnie'* have lot'* of torque management. Does the Intense PCM take care of this? Also the shifting is so lazy compared to my GTP, what all does the Intense PCM change relating to the tranny? I want a little firmer shifts and I would like to not have it shift into OD so fast when in 3rd or 4th. Any info appreciated.

YES, All of the above apply to the intense PCM... Im 90% sure of that....
The only thing is i believe that the torque management isnt completely bypassed, however it is better than stock... im sure Rogue or someone will chime in shortly and make me look stupid

All but the torque managment, its a tough nut to crack.
Better valve train allows for high revs and shift points, the intense pcm will take advantage of this and increase trans fluid pressure for a firmer shift.

When I had the IPCM I didn't notice that the shifts got firmer. However, I did leave it in Peformance Shift all the time and the shifts were comfortable for daily driving.
The DHP gives brutal shifts in Perform Shift.

They probably do feel brutal compared to a stock GP or Bonnie....I guess its what you're used to. I'm just used to driving cars that bark the tires into 2nd gear stock, so it takes a pretty firm shift for me to feel comfortable with it. I guess if you can turn off the performance shift and feel the regular shift and then go back to the performance shift it would feel "brutal." When you can't turn off the hard shifts you get used to them and anything smoother than that feels sloppy.

I have an 02 SE (Slow Edtion). I have installed the intense pcm in my car and absolutely love it. The torque management is hard to crack. But don't let that stop you from installing one. I have liked my car ever since I bought it and enjoyed driving it, However now I still like my car but I Love driving it. It wakes the car up and does so much to improve the overall feel. The shifts are nice not ecessively hard but good and punchy. It just seems to bang thru the gears. The pick up is greatly increased. And withouth the rev limiter and top speed limiter the top end is sweet.
Try it you will like it
If nothing else ask around everyone will tell you the same thing I have.
Peace
