Most aftermarket heads are clearanced for .600 lift. Stock heads are clearanced for about .524-.526
Stage 1X N/A cam has a .327 lobe lift.
lobe lift x rocker ratio = valve lift
.327 x 1.9 = .621

Cant be done....................
But on another note. you can get the 1.9s and get a cam made so that you stay at .525ish lift.
Its a simlar trick that we do with our COMP ELIM. engines. It accelerates tha valve open faster

The lifts are the same either way. Nobody has done this witih an N/A setup yet.

Just in general... doesn't have to be NA or Boosted...
So, would it be beneficial to run a custom grind cam with 1.9s as opposed to a stage 3 cam?
