Default Intake and exhaust questions

I searched for these topics but I dint come to anything that officially answered my questions if some could please help......I want to put a K&N filter on my 97 SE. Is that the best one to use or what else? What is the best way to run it to the engine and what materials? Will this new intake effect the sensor and set it off?( whats that do anyway?)

Now for the exhaust..... I read on here that it is not worth putting dual exhaust on an SE without all the mods...If I do put one on, will it decrease my back pressure and cause my to fry my rings or?.....sorry for all the questions....Thank you all for everything

A smooth metal pipe, with any cone filter will be the best. For exhaust, you'll really want to get a new muffler/tips and catalytic converter. The pipe is optimal for most modded engines anyways.

F body (camaro) mufflers are direct fit, and any 2.25" hi flow cat will do wonders.
