Yeah i'm def a grease money.

After the lower intake, it'* not too easy.
Dropping the engine cradle is a PITA.
You have to remove the ps motor mount, alternator, tensioner, power steering pump, harmonic balancer, 3 sensors, then the timing cover(with waterpump still attached), timing cain/dampner, cam gear, cam cover, the cam cover has those annoying star imprinted torque bolts, man they suck, but then the cam is right after that.

I dunno it'* not really difficult but it'* tedious as all hell.
You just have to take your time and follow the torque specs.
I used the instructions from mcgp.com for an l67. It helped out alot.

Anyone that is seriously tring to install a cam into an L36 e-mail me for help. I'll try and help as muh as i can.

one last quick question, as i don't have the money/time right now...

were most of the torque specs hefty foot pound numbers, or did you find yourself doddling with an inch pound wrench a bunch? my inch pounder is junk (scale is only 120-9somethin... i can use my foot pound for that), but this would provide a great excuse to buy a nice one...

anyone else do that? use vehicle repair as a tool to get more tools?

no shoes? ---->Well i was a little delierious from not eating or sleeping and it was hot as all hell in my garage. Don't worry, all my toe nails are still intact.

As for dyno/track? i've gotta get my cat replaced today, i'm missing a motor mount bolt and i'm gonna get a diagnostic done so a can get a nice chip.

After all that, it will be ready.

Thanks for the props.

Did you get dyno'd before doing these mods? Or run at the track before the mods?
Just so we can compare.

I never took it to a track or dynoed it before.
But i've been close racing wise w/ my friend. He'* got an infiniti I30(maxima). I raced him stock, beat him kinda bad, raced him w/ an intake, beat him but it was a little closer, then he got a Y pipe, which is sopose to have huge gains on those cars, I just barely beat him. But it turns out that whole time he had a pretty bad computer problem, his knock sensor was really messing his timing up. After that got fixed, he beat me by his car length.
Anyway, i'll see how i do up agianst him now and that should tell me something as far as improvement from before.
