FLowmasters are chambered. The sound coming out from each side is slightly different so it'* got a more natural sound. New GTO'* actually have different sized mufflers to combat drone.

Well he should still be able to use it if that is the one he has, it'll just have to be n10 style like mine and the other stockers instead of sse(i) style. Should still sound hot.

And do what with the driver'* side exhaust tip? Leave it as a dummy? Morning condensation from the muffler will look funny from only one side.

Well can't he remove that other tip and put some aftermarket ones on the one side? I'm just saying that he can get it done cheaper without having to buy a whole other muffler. But maybe that'* not his best route.
