Can someone tell me, step by step, how to gut my airbox. I dont wanna mess it up.

the 96-99 are a little different than the 00+

the 00+ box is 3 pieces, the 2 closest to the engine get modded

here is the back piece with already gutted ( i dont have a pic of a stock)

so I gutted the centerpiece. I cant really tell what you are supposed to do with the piece closet to the motor. what am i cutting out if anything.

I used a pnuematic die grinder to grind away the ribs. Take everything out, then I widened the opening so the tubing to the throttle body could fit. I clamped that tubing onto the rubber throttle body bellows.
I wrapped the whole thing in that metallic bubble wrap for insulation and put a K&N on the flexible tubing.
