I hate the way this thing handles- Suspension upgrade Q'*.
Alright, this thing handles about as well as a 73 Charger on stock suspension(ok, not that bad, but it'* pretty bad). So... what is out there for upgrading the suspension on this car? The car in question is a 2000 Bonneville. The things I would like to do is: lower it, a bit stiffer ride(will happen with the lowering springs and new struts), larger sway bars, poly bushings, and stb'*.
I already know I can get the GXP front STB from GMPD. I've done a search on google, and no luck for any springs. Do then even make them for this car?
What about the SLE/SSEI/GXP springs? Stiffer? Lower? Same with the sway bars, i'm sure they're a bit larger as well.
Any insight is more than appreciated.
Thanks!

BTW, I put this in performance, because I really didn't see any place for suspension. This would be upgrading the suspension as well, so perhaps INCREASING the performance of the way my vehicle handles?
LOL, if it needs moved, do so.

If you want a really nice ride, along with sportier handling:

You have the soft or 'touring' FE1 package. What TWM said is true. You want sportier firmer handling? Go with the SSEi suspension package. All 4 springs, struts, and both swaybars. Do it as a PACKAGE. All-inclusive, or you'll induce some imbalance in your handling.

Correct, I'd contact Ed Morad for the parts
Or hang in til one of the spring guys like Toasty finds this. I forget, but springs have been found to lower. Not sure if anyone has done it or found a way to correct the camber...but research and asking around is often the mother of cool toys.

I haven't found a definite source, but Edelbrock makes springs for some year STSs (they don't consider them to fit newer STSs because of the stability control system issues that may come up with the springs)
I have not had a chance to get fully into it, but it appears that the STS springs will fit the Bonneville, but it has not been confirmed. The mounts are the same, so they will definitely mate up to the struts/control arms, but i do not know what differences there is in spring height.
