Default How does porting a */C increase performace?

I was browsing the intese racing website and they have a ported supercharger housing. Has anyone had any experience with this? Just wondering...

A lot of people run ported superchargers.

Here are the ZZP ones. They kind of explain how they work. A lot of people with ported */C'* show great performance gains.

Don't increase the size of the outlet port. Only break the corners for smoother airflow and cooler operation. There probalby is only about 5hp in doing this, and it really depends on the flow of the rest of your system. You need to port your exhaust and LIM as well.

Read the SC porting topics in Forced Induction. I've done my own, as has Foghorn.
