Default Hooker Aerochamber installed

I just recently upgraded my stock muffler to a Hooker Aerochamber muffler with a Magnaflow tip. Since none of the shops could get to me for another week, I had an excuse to pick up a small mig welder and take a stab at it myself. Here'* some pics

Tips

My ugly welds

My new sidekick

It went pretty well for my first time touching a welder. Here'* a video for some sound.

Has a nice low tone and isn't too loud at idle (stock cat & res). Decent for a $60 muffler I must say.

Your welds look pretty good for a first timer. I've heard good things about the AeroChamber.

i've had the Hooker Aerochamber mufflers on my car for 5 or 6 years now and love the sound. they sound the same today as they did when i put them on, your car sounds good and the tips are awesome. you did a good job on the welds if its your first time with a welder. GOOD JOB

Nice work! The welds that MyLittleBlackBird and I did don't look that sharp. You did very well for a first-timer.

And speaking of MyLittleBlackBird... I can tell by your license plate that you're from Iowa! Where are you located? He'* in Muscatine (my hometown), and so are my parents (newly registered on here as "trikefarms"). We also have a Resident Gearhead located in Ames. Hope you can hook up them at some point in time!

Thanks guys.

I'm in Sioux City. I've spotted a few members from IA, such as Bill Buttermore that you mentioned.

Thanks again for the input. Here are a couple more video clips.

This was a quick drive by outside work. The camera picked up more of the interstate noise nearby than I thought it would. Oh well

And this one was later that night on a dead county road. It ends with a 100mph fly by.

yeah not bad at all, looks like you might have needed to up the voltage a little to get the welds to have gone a little nicer, but still good non the less
