How can I make my hood scoop functional when installing it?

By cutting a hole in your hood.

The only way to really make it functional is to have engine bay heat vent out the back.

But really. If your thinking about forced air to your intake. Wont really help. I belive you need to be going around 125 to overcome the supercharger and actually have an effect. You best bet with that is heat removal from the engine bay.
