$1.25? I only pay $.98 a plug for Autolite 605'*. Got an extra set and put them in my mom'* 1993 Park Ultra when I changed the PCV, fuel filter and put the CAI on. When I pulled out the AC'* the #1 cylinder plug was only gapped at .051".
Got the new one'* in and with all the other things taken care of the car has really come to life. Definitely more power than the 1995 SE SC I test drove last week.
On another note, I am needing the piece that I hooked the vacuum hose up to for the Top Engine cleaner - I broke the center nipple, and there isn't enough to keep the vacuum line on and it set the SES light on.
Hopefully it'* not too major and I can get it fixed cheap.

what exactly are the positives of this..other than a cleaner engine.. will it really prolong the life etc..?

By eliminating carbon buildup (especially in the cylinders) you can reduce hot spots and therefore KR. May also increase MPG due to better overall efficiency.

a little more displacement and less restricted air passages make for a little more power regained from what you have lost over the years.

Default Instructions for NA Engines! ACTUALLY DONE BY ME!

Hey guys! Ok today my cousin and I went to the GM dealership around here to buy the Top Engie Cleaner. They had a whole shelf with them right in front at the service / parts room. We got 3: One for my Bonneville, one for my cousin'* Chevy Beretta and one for my uncle'* Isuzu Rodeo. We uesed the same process on all 3 engines (they are all NA by the way)

1. Look at the throttle boy and find a hose that comes out of it (ANY Hose wlil DO that comes from the throttle body!)
2. Pick a hoseand unplug it from where it goes (unplug the other end of it (NOT THE END THAT HOOKS INTO THE THROTTLE BODY!)
3. Note how much of the hose you will need to put into the can for it to suck up 2/3 of the can.
4. Turn on the car with all hoses plugged into their usual positions.
5. Unplug the chosen hose, put your finger on it to be 100% sure there is vacuum in there.
6. Put the hose into the engine cleaner can far enough so it sucks in 2/3 of the can.
7. Make sure the engine doesn't stall on the fluid (have someone keep it alive by giving it gas or you can do the same via throttle body'* accelerator linkage).
8. Once 2/3 of can is sucked in, turn OFF the car.
9. Pour in the rest of what'* left in the can either directly into the Throttle body (through the butterfly valve) or just pour the rest of the can into the hose you used to suck in the fluid (a funnel may help you in this).
10. Let car sit for 15-45 minutes (the longer the better supposedly).
11. Turn on car and take it around till it stops smoking.

That'* it! Basically this is the same process as the Supercharged engines only that NA engines suck the fluid in through any of the TB'* vacuum hoses. It'* all the same! Any differences between the minute details of my instructions and the instructions given earlier in this thread are just my own personal decisions on how to put it on. This process worked great on all the cars we did it on!

Sorry i took so long to do this on the NA engine as i promised to earlier but hey better late than never!

well.. uhhhh
i did it.... and umm there was minimal smoking... car seems to run a lil better.. course that could all be in my head........ could it be that my engine was alredy fairly clean??? myself and j6 were a lil surprised at the rather anticlimatic finish to this.... we wanted to see some smoke.. or some sign that the engine cleaner was doin somethin.. on a side note.. it smelled kinda cool.......
