Hi Flow CAT and Muffler
I want to change the CAT and Mufler on my '95 SSE. I know that the exhaust is stainless steel, which presents a problem when finding a replacement. What sort of problem can I expect by replacing the CAT and Muffler with Aluminized parts? Are they going to rust fast? How long? I saw a lot cars are using the Flowmaster80 Series (about $80), but it'* aluminized. I found a stainless steel muffler, Dynomax UltraFlow SS, for about $150. Other than the difference between stainless steel and aluminum, which one is better? I'd like a mellow sound but more free flowing.
Also, is there a stainless steel hi flow CAT too?

Be ready for some raspy exhaust with a H/F Cat.. sometimes if the 3800 has too much opened up it can sound a tad raspy. I've got a flow master 80series and it sounds scrumptrilecent! ..just my 2 cents
..yes, i said scrumptrilecent. I believe Will Ferrel invented the word.. but i can use it too, haha.
