How about putting something in the PCM you guys make that allows our vehicles to run on 85% ethanol. GM has them in some trucks and Ford has them in the taurus among other things. I just thought it might be a good idea since 85% is cheaper and higher octane.

Higher octane isn't necessarily better, and it has lower HP then lower octane rated gasolines.

Yes it will allow you run higher spark advance/boost, but octane itself doesn't give more HP. A higher octane rated actually has less energy in it then a lower one. And that advance can be at a cost if one thing goes wrong.. *pop* Best bet is to use the lowest octane you can run with 0 Kr. if it'* 104 may god save your checkbook.

the higher octane would help with the SCed cars, and it is alot cheaper than premium gas. You wont see that much of a power loss by using higher octane. It will be offset by the timing gain or allowing you to run a smaller pulley.
So what needs to be done to our cars to make them FFVs (flexible fuel vehicles)?
