Default HEY INTENSE (aka Rogue)

How about putting something in the PCM you guys make that allows our vehicles to run on 85% ethanol. GM has them in some trucks and Ford has them in the taurus among other things. I just thought it might be a good idea since 85% is cheaper and higher octane.

Your engine will run on 85% ethanol, the reason you're not certified for it, is the fuel system isn't made to stand up over long term use of high ethanol concentrations. They don't like some o-ring/gasket materials.

Higher octane isn't necessarily better, and it has lower HP then lower octane rated gasolines.

104 gets rid of KR.

Kyle does it get rid of your Kr? Yes it will allow you run higher spark advance/boost, but octane itself doesn't give more HP. A higher octane rated actually has less energy in it then a lower one. And that advance can be at a cost if one thing goes wrong.. *pop*

Best bet is to use the lowest octane you can run with 0 Kr. if it'* 104 may god save your checkbook.

104 = 0 KR (before I had my false KR issue) which hense = 18 degrees of timing from the INTENSE PCM, which = me go down track faster.

the higher octane would help with the SCed cars, and it is alot cheaper than premium gas. You wont see that much of a power loss by using higher octane. It will be offset by the timing gain or allowing you to run a smaller pulley.

So what needs to be done to our cars to make them FFVs (flexible fuel vehicles)?
