Default heads or nitrous

I will say this I can get my hands on both for real reasonable. I want to know your opinions would the heads be worth it if I am not cammed just rockered. I am not looking to go super far like a cam or anything I just want to see 13.5 that is all. For the sake of argument lets just say the price is the exact same what would be the best bang for the buck

what are the specs on the heads?

IMO, heads are a bigger step than a cam

Ported heads will allow more flow. You could probably increase your rocker ratio depending on the heads. Although going as far as heads..you may as well cam and get the best of both. Rockers are what you put on when you don't want to go into the motor as far as heads or cam.

Nitrous on the other hand..well..it can be quite the power adder when done properly.

If the options are just heads or nitrous to get you to 13.5, I would have to say nitrous.

what "heads"....specs on them...what vendor

IMO if you dont have a good cam to match the heads they are a waste

and i agree with travis......you dont need spray to go 13'*

let me re phrase the question I am at 6700 ft I want a car capable of 13.5 at the mile high track or higher. the heads are not a specific vendor they would be a custom thing. The specs I have been told are really nothing more then a stage 3 intense head. the thing is that is it kind of a package deal ported and polished lim port matched to the heads. the nitrous kit is a used setup that is a NX 75 shot with everything included. By the time I would be looking at this I would be sitting with a full bolt on car plus full custo tune and ported and polished charger and TB and either a 3.4 or smaller depending on how she takes to the headers and the tune.also remember I have the 1.8s and that is why i would not go with a cam and a cam is more noticable. I want this car to be a silent killer or sleeping giant. I want the ultimate sleeper and I think that NX would be a little obvious but the heads wouldn't be. I also think the heads would be better also due to the altitude and would help kill all KR and maybe be able to add timing. I guess the goal is completely unnoticable and "innocent" Grandma car

Well if it was myself, i would do the nitirious. Alot of people are anti nitirous but it is a decent power adder when used right. Espically when used on a supercharged car, because it also acts as an intercooler. So you dont only get the gains of the N2O, you also get the advanage of the intercooling effect. So even something as small as a 35 dry shot will give nice gains, be somewhat cheap (a 35 shot is quite a few runs at the 1/4 mile strip, probably around 20ish), and a small shot like that will not be too nasty on your tranny. Thats just my opinion.

what is the worst that could happen with heads I flow too well and need more fuel aka bigger injectors? I mean to me and this is what makes sense to me heads would provide less stress on everything unlike the nitrous which would be like a punch in the gut

Heads will not by themselves really FLOW MORE. They will ALLOW you to flow more by OTHER means. Stock injectors would be fine on ported heads with no cam or rockers.
