It is quite easy to relocate the compressor to a different location. I have mine right were the battery is along with a lightweight battery. The two together are the same size as a normal sized battery and fit perfectly.

I personally find the HL washers very effective at removing slush and snow, as well as the red clay gravel (we don't use salt) for road traction during the winter. VERY effective. Since my intake works just fine with the compressor in the OEM location and the double washer reservior intact, I have no beefs whatsoever.
personaly i dont mind having the double washer, it doesnt seam to be a problem for me. the only thing i dont like it where the ELC pump is, but thats really only because of the bad location of me IAT sensor
and personaly i wouldnt want to lose the HL washers

Hmmm, I have considerd swapping to an SE washer bottle or a 97+ washer bottle, due to the fact that I think I would like to go the FWI route, I've thought long and hard about it, and I think it looks better (im a neat freak)....hmm something to considerd at the yard on Saturday possibly.
has anyone tried to move the headlight sprayers to spray on the radiator to cool the coolant after a run or something along those lines?? if they made a intercooler for the series one i would move the head light sprayers to spray on the intercooler radiator just to help it a little bit but they don't. but anyways do you think it would be worth the trouble to move and remount the sprayer in front of the radiator??
