Gonneville please post some more pics of your headlight mod (closeups and of custom brackets)! Also $500 for 2 sets of HID'* off ebay? Do you have a link to the seller? I've been in the market for HID'* for a few of my cars.
What about the '92 Bonne'*, I was looking at the brackets on my '92 SSEi and they are different compared my buddies '94 Bonne SE. The bracket look alot closer to the bracket of a '96 + Bonne with the newer headlights if i'm not mistakin.

I just went out and checked mine because I could of sworn that mine were different.
I guess I didn't look close enough at the brackets being that I haven't had the car that long and I'm not driving it right now because it is all apart test fitting different things.
With that being said, I dont have any black brackets that have the two hand screws in it and are tightend into the front rad. support. :? Why is that? On a closer look, both headlights are zip tied inplace! I guess that is what you get out of a $600 car N-E-Ways.

I want my headlights to match, and since my passenger side has a small crack in it, I figured I'd wait until I could pick up a matching '92 passenger side and then swap both sides. So I recently found a passenger side on ebay, seller said it was from a '92, picture in ebay listing showed black edge around lens, it arrived yesterday, and it DOESN'T have the bulb shield. I think it'* OEM, not aftermarket, it says GM and has GM part number on the back. So I went next door to check out my neighbor'*, he owns a '93 SE, and the headlights on his bonny have the clear edges like my '95 headlights, but HAVE the low beam shields.
So now is seems there'* 4 different styles for '92-'95 headlights:
a) black edge with low beam shield
b) black edge with no shield
c) clear edge with low beam shield
d) clear edge with no shield
So now I have to decide should I just do the swap, and end up with one headlight with a shield and one without, or do I keep searching for a passenger side headlight with shield, so my questions are:
a) which year(*)/model(*) came with which styles?
b) is there any headlight performance benefit with the black edge, if so, why don't they all have it, if not, why is it there?
c) is there any headlight performance benefit with the low beam shield, if so, why don't they all have it, if not, why is it there?

Aside from the brackets, how does the hood fit around the 96+ light capsules contour wise?
