also im an SLE so im just like you i have the HD upgrade in my trunk its been there for like 6 months i havent touched the trans but i heard its an easy job?

I tried bending mine, it was horrrible, I got the right angle i needed to make it work after 2 hours or so and then i bent it so much that it wouldnt seal into the trans. its much easier to just get a wbody one.

we tried bending it to fit my brothers 06 gp and it was a nightmare.. it also cracked and had to wait a week or so for a replacement

much better and easier to buy the pre bent ones lol

The H body or Bonneville tube is bent too differently from the factory to be an easy bend solution. The W body tube is well worth the little money a yard or dealer charges for them.

The lube dam is not an issue if you worth with it properly. The output shaft should always be removed from the driverside of the trans as it is intended. Then lube it up and gently slide the new one in through the lube dam. All set.

Well, see i just bent mine thinking "W-body and H-body" They cant be two diffrent there only one letter off! LOL.....*crickets*

Anyways I just stuck the w-body one in my transmission and then bent it..
