Been watching this product being shown on "Horse Power TV". This tool was used to recalibrate the PCM. They were saying that you could raise shift points and the speed limiter, and also increase line presure on the tranny,(sound familiar?). Also they were saying that you could do this by anserwing some yes and no questions... only takes a few minutes. You can also set your car back to stock settings if needed. I'm kinda thinking about trying this. Any thoughts before I do?

Saw that myself yesterday. Didn't catch the brand, so I can't hit the web site to look at it. And $400 is a bit steep for me.

Let us know what you find out though.

Sounds like the Hypertech power programmer plus. I'm not sure it'll work on all cars. I know my 98 Z71 can use it, but that'* fully OBD2 compatible, and it'* made specifically for GM or Ford or Dodge trucks. Not cars.

Yep that'* it, when you use it though, you can only use one vehicle on it at a time, cause it stores the factory settings inside itself.

Now that you mention it, I think I was watching "Trucks" when I saw it...

Next vehicle I buy will be a truck, and I've owned quite a few, so I love watching that show. I damn near wet myself when I saw them advertise the 720 HP Chevy small block. Teach that damn foreign kid waht "ZoomZoom" is all about with that thing...
