Default GXP brakes on SSEi

I'd like to upgrade my brakes to GXP. Larger rotors, better calipers, ect. Any of you done this upgrade? What do I need? How much bigger are they?

A few have done this mod and might chime in. As far as what you need not 100% sure, I would imagine the calipers, brackets and rotors. The GXP has 13" rotors and our SSEi'* have 12" rotors

yup that is mine. the rotors are 1" larger both front and back. The front pistons are alum, and dual piston and quite a bit lighter than the stock

Is it worth the upgrade though?

Bringing the car down from speeds Pat is known to frequent, Oooo ya. GXP brakes slaughter OEM pads. They are big grippers.

I might think about it then. Stopping fast is a priority around here.

My single piston calipers just aren't good for stopping at 90+, can't wait to do my upgrade in the spring

So do I just need the brakets, calipers, rotors, and pads?
