All the signals come from the PCM into the dash. If you can find what those do...

Well maybe I will just have to find some GXP guages or try the whole laminate thing. I would like to keep the current black dash, and just make the letters hsow up white at night instead of red. I will try to find some white laminate of some sort to try and make it work. Thanks guys!

After some thought, i dunno if i'd even bother, unless u could find one at a junkyard (good luck) and get it very cheap. Otherwise the PCM will be very different. No boost gauge, and a different signal minimum for that wire, if not a completely different harness will mess you up.

The real reason the GXP'* mph goes to 160 is the control on the DIC for English or Metric readouts on the mileage/kilometers, gallons/liters used ect.. If you notice the GXP'* speedometer does not have those small dots with your speed in KPH inside the lager numbers for MPH. If you hit the E/M button on the dash you'll see the Mph turn dark and the KPH will light up. The Speedometer will automatically now display your speed in KPH on the same set of numbers. My guess is that as long as it stays in MPH mode (I dont know how to control that hardware wise) it should display the same speed using the same encoding as non GXP Bonnevilles.
