Default GP dogbone?

Anyone ever consider the front top dogbone engine mount from a GP? My recent engine rock discovery got me thinking. It would take a little fabrication, but would our radiator support handle the load?

I don't think the rad support is designed for those forces....

The GP'* are reinforced in the front to handle the dogbones. I think our engines are mounted differently, so it would require a bit of fabrication.

you can get the mounts then order polyurethane bushings, so they don't crap out on you

Why don't you just work on getting or making polyurethane bushings for the dogbone we have the the side mount?

It'* possible to get Liquid/pourable urethane. I don't know what sort of durometers are possible with this, but it'* one option.... One could make some plaster molds from stock pieces etc...
