Let'* not take this one off topic.
Matt...can you ask the trans guy. I've heard it "might" be possible to slightly drop the cradle and take the side cover off to get at the TCC w/o having to fully remove the trans and the subframe.

The old Solienoids were re-used from the old transmission, its not that often one fails.

All mine were replaced with improved design/updated parts. All brand spankin' new. A solonoid is an inexpensive part with a limited lifetime. Electro-mechanical devices like that should be changed by default when the case is cracked open.
