Default Good Gains -Gutting Airbox

I performed the air box mod on my Olds LSS - supercharged over the weekend and was impressed with both the SOP improvement and sound.

You can sure tell the car has a blower now. Its not Cobra loud, but when you get into the boost it wurls nicely.

Can't wait for the 3.4" pulley

Thanks everyone on here for the info and pics. I use a dremel tool and it took about half an hour. Great free mod in my opinion.

The LSS seems to respond to everything. That includes K&N drop in filter and 30* temps. This somehow brought my 0-60 from 6.9 sec. down to 6.6 sec. The 6.9 was taken with an old nasty filter and 85* temps.

Just remember, when you get that 3.4" pulley, you are gonna want more than just a gutted airbox.

Once you get the 3.4 on there it will whine a LOT more, not only that, but the car will pull a lot better too. Better get a couple other mods on that thing first though.
