glass packs?
Of course the glasspack isn't going to "hurt" anything, and most people won't know seat-of-the-pants how the change in exhaust flow characteristics are effecting the engine. I don't like making uninformed decisions on any system of my car when I can help it , that'* all.
My Bonne has no resonator and a 2.5" catback and is FRIKKING LOUD. My Regal needed a new resonator and they didnt have the right size so it has a glasspack for a resonator, sounds NICE but quiet. But could I feel a difference between the 2 probly, but its hard to compare a SER1 and SER2 L67. I did feel an immediate gain after both, but I felt the gain at lower RPM with the SER2 and at higher RPM with the SER1...strange because the SER1 has a lower RPM band, so I would say it didnt really help with around town power but for racing it helped. However my Buick has a higher RPM band and feels strong low and doesnt really feel weak anywhere, but keep in mind I drove my Bonne for a few weeks with the stock pulley after the exhaust and after the pulley all low end power was immediately back at the puch of the pedal (amazing what a quicker spinning SC can do for ya) My Buick on the other hand already had the smaller SC pulley on before I touched the exhaust, so I could feel low end and high end increase.....as with any mod its good to support your mods with mods that help them out. i.e. Exhaust and Intake (in my case also pulley) and good ignition. all together they work very well, but seprate them and they wot do as much as well.

yea that makes since. I am getting all the exhaust work done next week i believe and i will tell you how it sounds and turns out. Hopefully by the end of feburary i want to have a high flow cat and CAI. I am considering building my own out of the stock air box. I am thinking of adding a cone to it and running a tube from the fenderwall to the box. Would that work. Give me some input on that too. Thank you

that stock airbox should hold cold air i shouldnt have to insulate it should i? Also i read that they sell a tape to wrap your intake tube in and it is suppose to hold the hot air out. Worth the money? keep feeding me without info. lol

would header wrap work on the intake tube to keep the heat out. Also i have heard to wrap your x-over pipe. Does that work well to keep out heat under the hood?
