Getting *&* headers???
A guy in chicagograndprix.net is selling his *&* header combo. Its the headers, coated in 2000* ceramic coating, as well as a 3" DP and gutted cat. All for $440, I know the headers will take a bit of work to get on, but will the DP fit? The cat I will replace with a hi-flo one for emissions.

I would imagine the DP will fit but I can't be absolutely sure. I have TOG headers on mine and of course those are for a GP. I think the GP engine and/or exhaust manifold has a slightly different alignment relative to the tunnel.
I noticed my TOGS point slightly to the passenger side. Also, since the TOGs come with the DP and flex, the guy did some very creative cutting and TIG welding using 3 small sections of mandrell bent SS 3" pipe to connect up to the catalytic converter.
There is a bracket from the transmission to the frame in the front, I had to cut part of this bracket for clearance. I'm told the SLP headers don't have this problem and I don't know about the *&*.
On a side note, I installed the rear header from underneath, it went straight in easily!!
Cheers,

The SLP'* have the same problem, Allmachtige just did his install, and said he had to cut some sort of strut off. I am assuming I will have similar problems. I will buy the entire combo, and see where to go from there.

you will probably end up driving it with open headers to the exhaust shop to get them make everything mate up. Sounds like a good deal.

Damn!! I wish I could've gotten to the yard last Friday before the early bird(*). I'd ahve myself a set of headers as well as a few other GP niceties.
Now I can just get MY hands on a set of those puppies for cheap.

Does anyone know the link to the website to buy those headers new? I used to have it, but it appears to be dead now. They were a pretty good deal and I was thinking about getting them, but...
