For a 97 with that many miles 5000 bucks is in the right range.. maybe a tad low, but I saw a 99 with 78k miles fully loaded every option GTP for only 9995 $.... the grand prix is a very common car, and dosent really hold its value that well from what I have seen. (Waiting till the summer then I'll probably be getting my a GTP or Regal GS... The LeSabres been good to me but I dont need a huge car... I'm a single male, 20 years old... a maroon lesabre dose not impress chicks.....

Ive seen prices for GTP'* range from 5,000 to 10,000+. Sounds like a good deal, the tranny in that is the 4t65-HD, right? If it is, there are some design defects you might want to check out. 100k miles isnt too high, its only about 15k miles a year. If I were you I would definitly sell the car privatly, the only reason I would ever trade a car in is if the milage too high or if there are some mechanical defects.

my Girlfriend just bought a supercharged 98 GTP Pace Car #1398 0f 1500 (0ne of 200 with a sunroof) with 70k for $8500 RETAIL, the guy who traded it in got $5800 for it, The 04 has made the valus of the 97-03'* drop big time. just like any other time a new model is out on any car.

I decided not to get it. I just moved out of my parents house, and the car would put me on too tight of a budget. Oh well, hopefully its for the better, it seemed like a "too good to be true" kind of deal.
