Default Gen V M90

Hypothetically, lets say I get my hands on a Gen V blower. I know it is far superior in everyway to the Gen III.

What would need to be done for this to be installed? Does anything need to be blocked off? Does the L67 TB fit on it? Will it bolt up to the intake using the same gasket that the Gen III uses?

The gen V is in the 04' GTPs, correct? The only reason they are rated at 260hp is because of fuel delivery issues. I've heard you get big gains from putting it on a series 2.

Yep Rogue would be your best bet. I know that the L67 TB will not fit the Gen 5 seeing as the L32 has a bigger TB and it bing FBW. You will need a TB Spacer to get it to work right. I'm pretty sure that Rogue has a Mule Gen 5 M90 from INTENSE. It was a test Gen 5 for GM and it bolts up to a L67 TB.

I wasn't (at first) jumping on the band wagon about the Gen 5 being far superior to the Gen 3 but after having both in my hands, the Gen 5 is just amazing. In stock form the outlet on the Get 5 looks close if not exactly like a ZZP stage 4 Ported blower, the inlet is alot bigger too (75mm) and a better cast, the rotors just seem to have closer tollerences being that the "wear in", and just the whole cast seems to be a better grade. Not to mention being more efficent.

I know they are very expensive, but it would probably be a lot better than a ported Gen III blower.

Gen 5 > Ported Gen 3. . . . . . . . . GEN 5 much better!

With your mods tho, I'd say a GEN 5 will not really help you that much. (HP / $$ Combo)
Take the money that you would spend on a GEN 5 and put it into other mods and you will be faster. Unless you find a great deal that you can't turn down!

its expensive ($1000+ if I remember right). Try doing a search to find the topic that Rogue started on this, it should have some information in there for you. It is the equivalent of going one step lower pulleywise.

You'll need the adapter for your TB i believe. Or atleast your TB. Otherwise it'* the same unit for bolting it all together. You won't need a new fuel rail or anything like that AFAIK.

You will see good gains on your car. But it will be pricey, unless you get a good deal.

This is BonneMe over at andrews BTW.

They aren't easy to find cheap. The cheapest I have heard is $700 for one, people have probably gotten them cheaper, but $700 is what I heard. IIRC you have to get a thorttle body adapter kit. I think either INTENSE or ZZP sells these, maybe both. But, they provide the biggest gain on a heavily modded car getting close to the limits of the blower. And a Gen V owns a heavily ported and polished Gen III like mad.
