Front belly pan Plastic shield.
 

What do most +00 guys and gals do in the summer with this belly pan :?:

I have mine off right now and am considering leaving it off for the warmer summer months.
Do you think there are benefits to leaving it on :?:

I have it off on my 95, but was told by a shop that I should put it back on as the slots in it direct air into the engine compartment and it helps to push the hot air out the back of the engine. I thought that without the pan it would work better, and when I told them my thoughts they said that it doesn't really flow the engine, but rather that it swirls up and right back out the front. Kinda messed up and I didn't really bite.
Again, this is on a 95, so it could be different with the 00+.

There are no slots or vents on +00 pans. I think it would benefit to leave it on in the winter or rainy days but when it is dry and hot, it should be better to have it off for engine compartment ventilation.

Anyone else....who has a +00 model. :feedback:

Actually it's upsidedown in the pic, but you can see how it fits directly below where it is.

I know I don't have anything resembling that part. That looks like it would attach to the lower edge of the bumper cover, but the only thing I've got down there is the air dam that I had to get and install last fall. I didn't even used to have that.

Well I guess the pre 00 Bonne's don't have one.
So that might answer my original question. If it doesn't matter for you it should't hurt me to leave it off.
It does create a nice shield from water in the wet weather.

There might be some slight aerodynamic benefits at 150 mph. ;)

The angle of this pic sucks, but you can see those plastic push pins, and the black air dam. Well, the push pins don't hold anything and there are empty mount points on the front top lip of the air dam. And there is 6 inches between the dam and the bottom of the bumper cover.
