Default First Time Modder

My 95 Bonneville SE has been in the family since it was new. I got it 4 years ago on my sixteenth birthday. Now that I'm in college and not around my parents, I want to start adding mods to my car. I have read much of the techinfo section and have a few questions. How hard is it to upgrade to the 180 degree stat? and I have seen a CAI on Ebay by a company called ChromeIntakes is this any good or should I look elswhere? I really can't find any sites that have CAIs for my engine or I'm just not sure if they fit. Another part of my question is why are there a few website listed under techinfo that aren't availabe sites anymore?

Anyway Help me out guys

Specs
Stock 3800 Series II, 201k miles
K&N aftermarket air filter
broken cup holder, air vents, and a little oxidation on the bright red paint

first the 180 is super simple to install..

Usually the Ebay intakes are too short...try autozone, they sell a spectra intake for the 92-00 civics...you will have to cut it a little but its way better

and my 93 has been in the family since new....

Welcome
BTW where are you from?

See that silver thing with the 2 bolts? Thats the T-Stat housing. Just remove those 2 bolts and thats it.

The Ebay intakes are good, just be sure to get them with a K&N filter. II got mine off of the seller Intake_Power When you do that remove your maf screen. It looks like this

Another thing, if you havent already clean your maf sensor and install a new o2 sensor. Doing those 2 things alone regained some loss horsepower for me.
