okay guys i went to Rapid and may i say they suck so me and my bro went back up there the exhuast pipes where cruked it sounded okay but heres my problem is this true ive herd diffrent from many ppl okay well on a SE will u lose back pressure if u convert single to dual its not a Y pipe its like the Z28'* exhaust i got it yester day and when i got down and listen to the exhuast more air was coming out one side then the other so i need to know if i should just leave the dual exhaust and block off the side that isnt getting any air or not thanks guys

You're not really changing hte exhaust much with the muffler. It will open up the end of your tailpipe flow wise so you'll be good there.

My Exhaust work didn't kill anyhthing. Power was up accross the board.

Should i go back and make it a single pipe magnaflow for more back pressure or leave it dual which will give me the performance i need and will a intake help that out?

Just use the F body setup. The fact you're splitting at the end doesn't kill performance at all. You'll probably like the look, and the flow might be marginally better. You will pay more with one more tail pipe and one more tip, but IMO it'* worth it.

Chambered mufflers provide slightly different sounds from each tail pipe, giving it more of a burble or true dual feel.

IMO, dual exhaust on a car with single isn't the best idea without an X-Pipe. With that, you get uneven exhaust flow out of either. You know in the Winter there are some cars with dual exhaust, and one side gives off more smoke than the other? That'* what will happen to you, and everytime I see that, I think it'* retarded. True dual doesn't have that problem, unless you have dead cylinders on one side. And neither do cars with X-Pipes [I wouldn't have a dual without one].

True dual setup with an X or H pipe is worthless on our cars due to our header design. You're just carrying around more weight.

X H ... on our cars with a single pipe heading back doesn't matter. Dual outlet or single outlet is all preference. If you have dual tips, it'* all about impression. They both come off the same single pipe feeding back from the engine.

Now true duals...leave the H and X at home... straight on real live duals....that'* exhaust!
