ok back to my topic....at idle and between 1-2000 RPM'* it sounds fine. But above 4500 and the ricey noise comes out, and it is really noticable in neutral or park (dont do that very often). I am going to get an estimate later this week. Money will be the factor if I live with it or not. Oh and also, I dont have a big problem with drone or vibrations, just the ricey sound.

Did yall intall it yourself or did you go to a muffler shop? If you dont mind how much can I expect for a muffler shop to install a new muffler?

muffler shop, and had it welded. Mine was around 130 for a flowmaster 80, single in/out, and no tip.

got a quote for an aluminum resonator today: labor+1year warrenty and the total cost is only 49 dollars. Not bad IMO.

got one installed today. let me say, it sounds so much better. It isnt as loud, and that is a good thing. Toned it down, so it only gets load when i romp on it. All of the drone and rice sound is gone. Well worth 50 bucks in my opinion.
