i have a 2002 se bonneville ans i got a all stock Exhaust from factory and i wanna make it sound like deep and good (like a 4x4 or a race car?) is this possible if so how?

And what about cuttin off the Exhaust and jus run a straight pipe from the headers all the way to the back? will i loose hp if i do that and will it sound like crap????

For obnoxious and raspy, I always like 2 1/2 inch plated fence posts from Lowes. Cheap, plated tip, and will wake the dead......

You can achieve almost the same sound as a straight pipe by eliminating the resonater and uses one of the longer Cherry Bomb or Thrush glass packs. The longer the glasspack, the throatier the sound.

You do need a bit of back pressure in the system so going straight open from the header back is not a good idea.

Also, removing the cat will throw lot'* of codes and raise hell with your tune unless you can make changes to the PCM.

Take the resonator out and replace with just a straight pipe or a cherry bomb like Venom suggested.

Lose the muffler to. Put the glasspack where the resonater was and then the straight pipe.
