hey thanks alot that is really cool im going to get that. any ways last night i was driving with my head lights on and i came to a stop light and hit the breaks and everything dimmed really low and so did the voltage meter. anyone else have this problem

What year is your car? Check the wires that plug in to your alt. If there'* only 2, you may be able to install a sense wire and add about a volt. There'* a write up in the tech info area.
Also check yoru belt to make sure it'* tight and not worn.

Check your belt. Your year is good for dropping voltage at idle. I had the same problem. That'* just how they are. But, there is a fix an dit'* only about $10 and a half hour of work. Like I said, there'* a write up callind installing a alt sense wire. All your doing is adding another wire to the alt and connecting it to a +12v. That'* it. Only thing you need is a new plug, some wire, and a soldering iron. Check it out, well worth the time.
