You'll need to also swap in the tranny with output shafts and wiring harness.

Correct. You need the entire engine, trans, axles, engine wiring harness, PCM, and if you want it to actually drive and handle like an SSEi, you need at least the front and rear swaybars, their centerlinks, front and rear springs, and probably a few other goodies.

If you want it to handle like an SSEi, the suspension components will be needed.

If you want a boost gauge on the dash, you'll be digging in DEEP. Can't really tell you any more than that. I've never swapped an L67 into an L36 car.

I don't know. Probably not, but no gaurantees. You need to start with the factory service manuals. That will show you the differences. And I hope the donor motor is out of a similar or identical year as your SE?

the donor will be from a 00 or 01. i'll check on the differences between the se and the ssei. right now i know there should be a fuse for traction control. and my se doesn't have a on/off switch so that i'll be a project in itself
