Default engine cooling need help please

using hp tuner software and an intense pcm my fans are coming on at 225 and shutting off at 210. I have a drilled 180 t- stat and the program is set for on at 185 and off at 175. any ideas? where is the temp sensor anyway?

i found the temp sensor..... but why so hot before the fans come on ? with hp tuners i am able to reprogram my pcm ,I was able to change how long the fans run after the engine is off so the software must be working but the fan temp settings are not responding...... any ideas? living is South Florida and its getting hot fast.

Because your low speed fan that originally was programmed to come on at 215 isn't doing so.

Most likely the program change you made was the low speed and there'* an issue. First place to check is the relay.
Is power getting to the relay?
When you command the fans on at 185 are you seeing a ground at the relay to actuate it?
Is the relay actuating and allowing power through?

The low speed fan should come on around 215/218 by itself. Then the car heats more and the high speed fan joins it at 225.

As for the relays on an 03.. uh...yeah.. we need one of the newer gen guys to answer.
