looking at the size of the electric motor that they used to power the M90/M112 hybrid in another post, i think that is out of the question. The motor was massive and they still didnt get it up to peak RPMs.

I emailed the owner of this place (boosthead)...this is what he said:
Even after subsequent emails the owner didn’t want to offer one of his products for a solution for the NA 3800.
I know there have been bashings of similar products in this forum, but has anyone "seriously" looked at the eram?
http://www.electricsupercharger.com/
I checked it out, and knowing THAT I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING, I don't know if this will work, would be worth it, or would have a positive effect. It is a fraction of the cost of the products boosthead offered...
Again, I am admitting upfront I have no idea what I am talking about (think about that before you start bashing me)
I would swap in a 3800 Series 2 SC motor, ECU, etc with upgraded exhaust, a 3.4" pulley, and port the supercharger. At 10 psi you would have a daily driven 300hp.

Correct. That thing is a restriction in almost any application it might be used for. It would also cause turbulence, but you wouldn't care, considering the loss of power from the restriction.
That'* been the joke of Ebay for over a year. It was very popular in the Focus community for a very short period of time until everyone found it to be ****. They liked the sound, and the fact that they had it in their signatures. Then one day some guy ran at the track with it and without it. End of story.
(I know a guy that actually did this to a focus)

Ha... I can just see that thing installed with a huge intake port into the front fascia of the pc......mesh guad.... the whole nine yards.... LMAO
BTW, I've also noticed an electrical supercharger would run about $3500 for a competent system.... that'* 4.5336 times what i paid for the car. too much.
