Default Economy Priced Mods?

I don't have much cash flow right now, but I am addicted to making my car better. Do you have any ideas that would help make it better, but are fairly cheap in cost?

Here'* a guide that will give you a place to start. https://www.gmforum.com/performance-brainstorming-tuning-96/what-order-should-i-mod-my-engine-278662/ Basic mods are not to pricey, and will give you a bit of kick. After that it'* a bit more money and work.

Well how cheap are we talking, assuming you already have good plugs and wires a MPS (Modular Pulley System) would be around a hundred bucks, and it the best vaule performance wise. If you could find a member that has a puller you could save the money of renting one.

Other than that a DIY intake would be next, or a off the shelf reprogrammed PCM.

Yep, that covers about all the easy mods. The PCM swap is nice but you will need to have a CASE learn done, for that you will need a member with tuning software or a dealership that knows how to do it without reflashing the PCM back to stock.
