I was wondering do you think this intake would work with my 92 SSEI, i do have the double tank thing too. Cause the first one i bought is sitting on top of the freaking compressor and is not in a good spot at all, way too short.

well the first is shown to be installed on what appears to be a 92-99 Supercharged SSE.....which also appaears to have the dual tanks....so if you wanna go off the picture then i say go for it. because the car they show it installed on is the exact same thing you have.....but thats just whats in the pic

I have an intake very similar to this that I bought off ebay. It works great and the sound is amazing. I still have to find some material to make a heatshield with though as I am getting WAY too much hot air right now.

They're both kinda short, so you may want to find something longer. The 2nd one is definetly not as good as the first one.

SHORT???? Man, I have the same setup and trust me, any longer would really not fit. I think its great, but don't buy it just cause I like it, see for yourself.

You want the filter right up behind the headlight. Mine'* less then half an inch from the sheet metal. That'* where the cold air is. The first link i have seen personally. On an 87-99 car, it'* not in the optimum air. I still think the second link is too shielded around the filter, i see it being choked compared to other setups.

I have since moved my horn to the Park Ave mount behind the washer bottle. Much more room for the filter, and opens up a place to add a "ram air" duct.

I bought a civic ex one for like 32 bucks with shipping and all i needed is some part from home depot and it was good.
