from the front of the car to the back they read. performance shift, normal shift, traction control, the others are for ride control but i always leave it in performance ride so i don't remember .
and thanks for the info on gm tuners. I have been talking with him alot. I think instead of trying to **** into the wind (upgrading my series 1) i'm just going to swap in a series 2. the quote with a custom chip for a turnkey swap (all gauges and omputer work done, i provide the motor) was $2000. If i consider the intercooler for the series 1 if it works has a price of about 800 +, then rockers then a chip, it'* just worth it to do the swap. Thanks for the info. and i'm still getting a ls1 MAF for my car. I'll let you know how that works.

quitter........think of it this way...after spending that 2 grand your gonna have to spend more money to mod it ...thats 2 grand you could use on the SER1 yer gonna have to take out the 1 to put in a 2 so yer not talkin about any more work...CAM/ROCKERS/I.C./ 2.2" pulley/CUSTOM HEADERS/PORT&POLISH/CUSTOM CHIP can be had for around 2 grand and youd have one of the 5 fastest SER1 Bonnes in the world!!!!!! thats pretty exclusive. On top of that yer gonna miss out on the SER1 revolution, were coming back from the dead. if you spend that 2000 on an SER2 swap yer cars not gonna be as fast or as exclusive as the UBERmodded SER1....trust me I own both a 1 and a 2 and my 1 is not worth ditchin for 2 grand.....although the 2 is nice and parts are plentifull and cheap the swap IMHO isnt worth doing...ever heard a SER2 with an intake and a pulley rev? M90 sounds OK but that little M62 is a screeeemer, people really know somethins goin on under that hood! I got hard core import guys to enjoy my Bonne just my revving it up for them....weve come so far dont give up now!

You need to let me know what you're doing NOW so everyone else isn't waiting for you to quit tap dancing and make up your mind. This is a little more than rude.

for the cost of series one parts it seems that the final goal of a very fast bonneville would be better off with a series 2. I'm not trying to **** everyone off and i am sorry but after talking to GMtuners i'm going series 2. yea for 2000 i could have a fast series 1 but with 150000+ miles on it. or a fresh series 2 that the lower cost of mods and reliable parts manufactures (not DP) will ultimatly prevail in the end. If I drop 2g into the series one its ove. there is nothing else left to do. Maybe an intercooler if it really works. but when you consider that there are series 2 cars in the 10'* and the fastest series 1 is in the 12 or 13 range that says alot. I have a new trans so now i'm getting a new motor. I hate running all over the internet or in this case to another country to get mods that will probalbly work. I envy the camaro and GTP guys with the ease of parts. And besides how many 95 SSEi'* have a series 2 with 97 headlights? that sounds like a pretty exclusive club to me. I can't even get a set of headers and the motor is over 10 years old. I can't take the parts hunt anymore. I'm boarderline just selling the car and buying a GTP. Even when there is a part availble (intake from ADTR or pillar pods from DP) it'* still not really availble. Even our pulleys are only sometims instock. It sucks. So bottom line I'm sorry if I threw a wrench in everyons gears. I you can call me a traiter if you want, but a freshly rebuilt and slightly modified from the inside series 2 will be under my hood come summertime. If you want to line up your modded series 1 with my series 2 i'll be at greatlakes raceway when the snow melts in WI..

I dunno, its a bit of a **** off. I was ready to buy these for myself weeks ago, I don't mind paying extra. I decided to do everyone here a favor and postpone my purchase so others could get a good deal too...and this is how I'm thanked. I guess to you adding yourself in on the buy was as complicated as clicking 'submit'. Maybe you were lacking the capacity to understand that other people made plans according to that list. I dunno...I've got nothing else to say.
Good luck with your build.
